Having portable units that can simply be rolled in and switched on gives us great flexibility in being able to immediately begin monitoring a patient who has been assessed by our nurses as at elevated risk of falling. We are using this throughout our hospitals, from intensive care to the emergency department to our telemetry units and regular inpatient rooms – anywhere we see a need.
This new technology underscores our commitment to providing patients with the highest level of safety and care using the most advanced technology to redirect patients before a fall occurs.
It is so rewarding when you see somebody at risk trying to get up, and you use the audio to intervene right away. You have prevented a patient from falling and possibly getting hurt. The patients are really listening to you.
This new system emphasizes our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, all while providing the highest possible care and using innovative technology to redirect patients before a fall occurs.
