Sam Odle retired in June 2012 as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Indiana University Health and president and CEO of IU Health Methodist and University hospitals. He served IU Health in various capacities for 31 years. Under his watch, IU Health was named one of the “Best Hospitals in America” by U.S. News & World Report. Odle is board-certified in healthcare management and a fellow and past chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Odle received his master’s degree in hospital administration and his bachelor’s degree in allied health education from Indiana University.
